I am a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)
dedicated to supporting and empowering mothers in Baker County, FL, located in Macclenny, FL. I believe every breastfeeding journey is a "boobiful" (beautiful) experience. My passion for becoming a lactation consultant stems from my own journey as a mother of three, where I realized the importance of support and encouragement for new mothers. Currently I am nursing my third child, and I understand the value of continued support throughout your journey.
I will enter each consulation not only as a lactation counselor but also as a mother who has personally faced numerous challenges and gained valuable insights for them. I aim to be not only a source of professional guidance but also a trusted friend and supporter throughout your journey.

Even though I'm on my 3rd nursing career new things have popped up and Erica has helped me "diagnose" the problem and explained perfectly how to maneuver or switch nursing positions. She's also taught me so much in regards to tongue ties and where to best go to correct it. The other aspect Erica taught me a lot about is spinal care for newborns for the best nursing outcome. Her kind and caring spirit just makes her even easier to work with. There's no judgement and only encouragment to keep going on the journey you want to have with your baby!
After a very long and tough labor/delivery, my son wouldn't latch. So I pumped and bottle fed for 3 months. My very first breastfeeding cafe when I met Erica, she immediately started helping me. We got his lip tie revised when he was 3 months old. After that, Erica helped us gain a successful latch, helped me maintain my milk supply, and answered all of my questions. She always has the best advice and is always willing to help no matter how small the problem was.
If I had to describe Erica in a few short words...they would be... caring, understanding, and helpful. They say we all have a "calling" in life, and I whole heartedly believe that Erica's is to be a lactation consultant. Even before her new title, she would strive to help everyone she could with their breastfeeding journey, even if that was just to have a listening ear. Not only were we able to bond over breastfeeding, but we were able to bond over the struggles too. Erica understands how hard breastfeeding can be, but she never turns down to help however she can.
